About Me
My commitment is to support you in developing and achieving the goals you set for yourself when we work together! These goals can be centered around mental health, social, professional, or wellness goals.
My Experience
I have my Masters in Counseling Psychology, and integrate cognitive and dialectal behavioral therapies (CBT & DBT) into our sessions. I am a published author with articles regarding body image and LGBTQ mental health and I have experience providing therapy in community mental health, college counseling, and private practice settings.
Why Parents, Teens, & the LGBTQ Community?
Much of my psychology training was focused on the LGBTQ+ community and I identify with this community as well. I can empathize with the unique experiences that LGBTQ+ individuals face in the world and I recognize how our heteronormative society can cause increased mental health symptoms and how this can be difficult for parents who have LGBTQ+ children.

Do you work with non-LGBTQ clients?
Yes! Although many of my clients are LGBTQ I also am able to work with general distress and/or familial conflict as well. I will always schedule a consult to ensure I'm a good fit for you and/or your family!
